The Rochester Movie Makers Summer Video Challenge continues with up to 7 ten minute shorts being shot in the Rochester area in August and September. You can be a part of this learning experience. For information about the various projects and contact information for each project's "Team Captain" come to the next RMM Members Meeting Thursday, August 28th. The next RMM General Membership meetings are scheduled for 8/28/08, 9/25/08 and 10/23/08. All General Membership Meetings start at 6:30 PM; Brighton Public Library, 2300 Elmwood Ave. All persons interested in making or being a part movies in the Rochester area are welcome to attend. To get the most out of the group, attend regularly. It's one thing to meet people, it's quite another to get to know them. You can start to do both at the next RMM Membership Meeting August 28th!
At the next meeting RMM will continue to collect annual dues for "Voting Members" of $25.00 ($10.00 for students). You DO NOT have to pay dues to attend RMM meetings, but RMM members voted to help fund upcoming projects in part with an annual dues to be paid at the January meeting each year by members who wish to vote on organization issues.

Register your primary interest as a Producer, Director, DP, Actor, Screenwriter, Music Artist/Composer, Camera person, Set Design or any Other area of film making. The projects you can work on are not limited to what you list as your primary interest.
RMM is an official NY State Educational Organization designed to help you become connected to a team of film makers. By attending meetings regularly, you will be exposed to other people in the Rochester area that want to help and be helped executing the sometimes complicated, time consuming but usually very fun and rewarding process called film making.
Rochester Movie Makers meets monthly to raise awareness of film and video projects in an around the Rochester area.
