Rochester Movie Makers Member's Meetings, Executive Committtee, Writers Group and Team Captain meetings are open to the general public and you are welcome to attend.
MEETING SCHEDULE
Rochester Movie Makers Member meetings:
Last Monday of each month, 6:30pm at the Visual Studies Workshop, 31 Prince Street. (This is the big meeting every month).
The RMM Writer's Group meetings:
Bring ten pages of your feature or short with enough copies for each actor in your screenplay starting at 11:30am on alternate Sundays and hear your script read out loud and reviewed by peers.

Rochester Movie Makers Summer Shorts
2010 Rochester Movie Makers Summer Shorts Challenge
RMM welcomes all veteran and novice screenwriters to submit short screenplays that can be produced as part of the 3rd annual short film exercise in spring/summer 2010.
The RMM Summer Shorts is a way for you to meet other producers/actors/crew in the Rochester area interested in being part of film making teams and learn about film making in a cooperative film making exercise.
It all begins with the script! Start writing your screenplays now (10 pages or less with 2 characters minimum). Complete RMM Summer Shorts Guidelines. RMM members present at the March 29th Member meeting will vote to determine the top three best screenplays. May the best screenplay (yours) win March 29th!
This year's writers may opt-in to make their screenplays connect with others using a common element: A LUNCHBOX.

Once the screeplays have been written, it's production time! Our goal this year is 10 Short Films by September! To become involved with projects, come to any RMM meeting (see list above). Actors, Editors, PAs, Directors, Crew and Producers are needed for many projects. Limited or no experience is not a problem.

RMM Mission Statement- to create, develop and promote filmmaking and filmmakers in Rochester, NY.
RMM is a NY State Educational Cooperative 501(c)(3) designed to help connect local film makers and persons interested in learning more about film making. Attend meetings regularly to be exposed to other people in the Rochester area that want to help and be helped executing the sometimes complicated, time consuming but usually very fun and rewarding process called film making. Learn by doing at RMM.
RMM collects annual dues for "Voting Members" of $25.00 ($10.00 for students). You DO NOT have to pay dues to attend RMM meetings. Dues and donations are used to fund and grow the organization and are tax deductible.
